5K Tomorrow

Tomorrow I will run my first ever 5K race.  I'm really excited and curious about how I'll do in a race environment.  When I signed up for this 5K in December, I couldn't even run a mile without stopping and walking to catch my breath.  I didn't really think, I'd make it to three plus miles by the end of March.  But here I am.  I've run 5K many times in the past month and I feel ready for the race!  I have two goals: to run the entire distance without walking and to beat 42 minutes.  I will be thrilled to accomplish either of these goals.

Good luck! The best advice I could give is to just go and have fun. This is a celebration of a your physical accomplishments! ♥

I think you'll do great!! The adrenaline rush will make it seem much easier than your practice/solo runs. You'll see.

Good luck!!! Put all your stuff out tonight so you're not in a rush, wear clothes you've trained in, and have fun and celebrate! Also, I take a little ziploc baggie of a healthy munchy in case I get hungry right before the race.

You will rock it! I started the couch to 5K in December and will run my first 5K in April. To now be a runner is a thrilling feeling.
