One of the unexpected outcomes of taking a mile and a half walk every morning or afternoon is that I have time to myself. For a mother of a toddler and an infant with special needs, this is an enormous boon. For thirty minutes every day I can breathe quietly, take in a little sun shine, feel the breeze on my face and think. I don't have my phone with me. I'm not near the computer. My toddler cannot ask me 45,000 questions which is his half hour average. And I don't have to wipe a nose or a butt or a counter top. More brain space and a smaller Sarah - what could be better?
P.S. I've walked every day this week! Yay! My playlist has expanded to include Christina Aguilera's Bionic. Now that is some Hot Mama Music! What music do you listen to while working out? I need some ideas!
